We use CUSP writing Units to teach English writing lessons.  This focuses on the teaching and development of vocabulary and grammatical skills in isolation before application into an extended piece of writing followed by a thorough process of revising and editing.  

We use CUSP spelling resources for the teaching of spellings to pupils once they have completed the Little Wandle phonics programme.

Writing task selections, in some classes, may be made to complement another area of learning (e.g. Science).
